Welcome--or welcome back, to those of you who have been here before!

The Free Books promo has been a success. We’ve given away a lot of e-books, and will continue to do so until July 31st. For those of you who prefer a good old-fashioned printed book, both CHASING THE WIND and FINAL HOURS are available via Amazon and CreateSpace. Check out Collin’s beautiful cover design for FINAL HOURS. It’s striking--and my only input was a request for an hourglass.

AN ARMY OF ANGELS, meanwhile, is coming along and will be available in late September. We do have to update the excerpts we’ve posted here and on Scribd, as I discovered the chronology didn’t work and had to make some major changes in the storyline. If this is the worst problem I encounter, I’ll be happy. It took me ten years to write CHASING THE WIND!

I’m frustrated that CreateSpace doesn’t allow for separate files for a book’s front matter, making it necessary to start pagination on the title page, but again, it’s not the worst thing that could happen. In my first novel, DANCE OF THE GODS, the dedication somehow ended up before the title page in the finished book. And in A TIME FOR LEGENDS, my editor, copyeditor, and I all missed one big glaring typo: in one scene, there was a character wearing a bandana around his head--but somehow, the book went to print with the bandana around his chest!

So if anyone notices typos in any of my books, just remember--the guys in New York have goofed, too!
